Internet

Today everybody and everything is connected to the internet. The world wide web evolves towards a “real world web” since human beings, electronic devices, machines, robots, cars and all sort of equipment is getting connected to the “net”. Scary? May be. But inevitable. Eat it or die!

In this context the media is talking about “clash of generations” or the so called “digital divide”. There are people who are not on the net, but their number is getting fewer and fewer every day. On the other hand the digital natives are getting more and more on the net and can’t live without it.

The same is true for enterprises. First there was the web. Then the user revolution took place and that we called web 2.0. These days we encounter days of heavy convergence and everything gets closer, merges and melts together. And this not just for devices or networks, it is about business models and usual companies. Industries convergence and regions merge.

We call “connected” enterprises “interprise”. These are companies which are consciously aware of their internal web activities, external activities, customers’ and partners’ activities and the general connected public. These companies leverage the web for sales, marketing and customer services. But also for innovation, product development, opinion making and so forth. They are consciously aware of their “connected” themselves and their connected environment.

We developed an “Interprise” framework to help enterprises to become “interprises” and use the huge potential of the web for maximizing corporate and individual success, no matter what success stands for.
